SEVEN opens its first two destinations, in Abha and Tabuk
SEVEN has opened its first two entertainment destinations, in Abha and Tabuk, with Vindico Retail's design guides and tenant design review behind them.
SEVEN opened its first entertainment destination in Abha, and Tabuk followed within two weeks as the second. Both are part of a programme of 21 destinations in 14 Saudi cities.
Tabuk is a fully indoor, all-weather destination with attractions, social spaces and restaurants under one roof. For a programme that size, the design rules for tenants and operators have to hold from the first opening to the last, and across cities with different conditions.
The guides were written for the programme, not for one site. Two destinations opening within two weeks of each other, in two different cities, is the first real test of whether the same rules work in both.
