Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre in Al Ain has opened, with Vindico Retail's design manual and tenant design review behind its first stores.

Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre has officially opened in Al Ain, with stores and restaurants opening in stages. The centre was built for Scope Properties. It has some 14,000 square metres of built-up area over two levels and brings together a supermarket, food and beverage, leisure and service units.
The opening followed a sequence of work. Scope Properties appointed Vindico Retail to write the tenant design and technical manual, and Vindico then reviewed each incoming tenant's design against it.
A property opens when its tenants do, and most of the work that decides when is done a year earlier. The rules a tenant designs to, and the review of that design before a contractor starts, are what turn a signed lease into a trading store.
