VRDnet, our retail delivery software platform, has its own website at vrdnet.com and its own privacy policy. This policy covers the Vindico Retail website only.
When you contact us, by email or through a form on this site: your name, email address and any details you choose to give us, such as your company, role, market and what you need help with. A form on this site also records which page and campaign the enquiry came from, so we can see which pages lead to conversations.

Business contacts we meet: the business contact details of people we meet at industry events, meetings and introductions, such as name, job title, company, work email and phone number.
When you visit the site: technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies (see section 10).
When you register your interest in working with us, through the form on our Careers page: your name, email address, LinkedIn profile, location, area of experience, CV and any note you add. If you apply for an advertised role through LinkedIn, LinkedIn collects your application and shares it with us under its own privacy policy.
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health, religion or financial details. Please do not include it in a message.

The main laws we expect to apply are the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where we deal with people in the European Union or the UK, the GDPR. The basis we rely on may differ depending on where you are.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
Our CRM (HubSpot), which holds enquiries and contact records. Enquiries from this site and from the VRDnet website go into one shared account used by our team.
Our website host (Webflow), which runs this site.
Other service providers who help us run the business, such as email, file storage and meeting tools.
The other companies that trade as Vindico Retail, named in section 1, where they need the information to handle your enquiry.
Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or we need to protect our rights.
Our service providers may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Some of our providers store data outside the country you are in. When we move information across borders, we use the safeguards the law requires, such as contract terms with the provider.
Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
Clients and active business contacts: for the length of the relationship, plus the period the law requires us to keep business and tax records.
Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. We then keep a minimal record so we do not email you again.
Technical and cookie data: as set out in section 10.
Registrations of interest and CVs: up to 12 months from when you send them, then deleted, unless you join us or ask us to keep them for longer. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, such as access controls on our systems. No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your information at risk, we will act as the law requires.
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
ask what information we hold about you and get a copy;
correct it;
have it deleted;
object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it;
receive it in a format you can pass to someone else;
withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before);
complain to the data protection regulator where you live.
To use any of these rights, email info@vindicoretail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We aim to reply within 30 days.
We only send marketing emails to people who have agreed to receive them, or where the law otherwise allows it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing info@vindicoretail.com.
