Scope Properties appointed Vindico Retail to write the tenant design and technical manual for Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre in Al Ain.

Before a shopping centre has tenants, it needs a rulebook. A brand deciding whether to take a unit, and the design team working out what it can build, both need to know what the property will approve.
Scope Properties appointed Vindico Retail to prepare that rulebook for Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre, a two-level lifestyle centre in Al Ain. The tenant design and technical manual sets out the design standards and technical fit-out criteria that every tenant at the property works to. It is the start of a chain that runs from the lease deal through tenant design review to delivery, which is why it has to stay live.
A property's first conversation with a tenant is usually about what it will approve. A manual answers that before the conversation starts, which is why it is where we like to begin with a new property.

Vindico's role was the preparation of the manual. Reviewing individual tenant designs against it came as a separate appointment.
