The Grand at Nad Al Sheba Gardens in Dubai has opened in phases, fully leased and anchored by Waitrose, with Vindico Retail's design review, tenant delivery and VRDnet behind its tenants.

The Grand is a two-storey community centre at Nad Al Sheba Gardens in Dubai, developed by Shamal Holding. It opened in phases and was fully leased before the first stores opened. Waitrose & Partners anchors it, its first store in Nad Al Sheba, alongside premium grocery, dining, wellness, healthcare and everyday services rather than fashion or entertainment.
A community centre is a different delivery task from a destination mall. It has many small and varied tenants, from a nursery to an optician to a restaurant, and each has its own approvals and fit-out. Phasing means those tenants open in waves, not together.
Tenant designs and submissions at The Grand ran through VRDnet, Vindico Retail's delivery platform, so every submission and its status was visible in one place.
With many small tenants, the risk is not any one design, it is losing track of all of them. A shared record of every submission lets the landlord's team see where each tenant stands without chasing.
