Eagle Hills engages Vindico Retail for Al Lulu Island

Eagle Hills has appointed Vindico Retail to prepare the MEP design guidelines for Al Lulu Island in Abu Dhabi and to coordinate tenants, with a Vindico site team mobilised.

Al Lulu Island is a redevelopment in Abu Dhabi by Eagle Hills, whose plan for the island has been confirmed publicly.

Eagle Hills has appointed Vindico Retail to prepare the MEP design guidelines for the island, and then to coordinate tenants through design and fit-out. A Vindico site team has been mobilised.

MEP is where tenant fit-outs meet the building. Setting the engineering rules before the first tenant designs is the cheapest point at which to get them right.
Peter Row, Founding Director

Writing the guidelines and then coordinating the tenants against them keeps one team accountable for both the rule and its application. It is designed to link the engineering rules to the tenant deals and to delivery on site, so the rule stays the same from lease to opening.

The site team is how the guidelines get used. A tenant with a question gets an answer from someone who wrote the rule and is standing on the site.
Paul Mathews, Chief Operating Officer

Vindico's role is the MEP design guidelines and tenant coordination. Development and operation of Al Lulu Island sit with Eagle Hills.
