Misk City: Vindico Retail to produce up to 100 lease outline drawings

Lease outline drawings define each unit before it is let. They fix its boundary, services and the extent of the tenant's works, and every later design starts from them.

Misk has extended Vindico Retail's appointment at Misk City to produce up to 100 of them, in addition to the guidelines and fit-out manual Vindico had already prepared.

When a client comes back for more work on the same property, it is usually because the first piece fitted the way they run it. Lease outline drawings are the natural next step after the guidelines.

A drawing set that sits on top of the guidelines means the rules and the units are drawn by the same team, so they agree. Together they are designed to carry what is agreed in the lease through to design review and delivery, so the unit a brand signs for is the unit it is reviewed and fitted out against.

The drawings and the guidelines have to say the same thing. Producing both means a tenant never receives two documents that disagree.
