Al Othaim: three centres complete, Othaim Park manual added

Vindico Retail was appointed by Al Othaim Investment to prepare design guidelines and technical fit-out standards for Othaim Circle in Khobar and the two Othaim Park centres in Dammam and Jubail. That work is now complete.

Al Othaim has since asked Vindico to prepare a fit-out manual for Othaim Park.

When a landlord follows guidelines with a manual, it is moving from what tenants should design to how they should build. That is the point at which a standard starts to show up on site.

The guidelines set the design standard for each centre, and the manual sets how fit-out is carried out. Together they give a tenant and its contractor one set of rules to work to. They are designed as a connected set, built to be kept live and linked to the deals and to the design review and delivery that follow.

A manual is only as good as the tenants' ability to follow it. We write it for the contractor who has to build from it, with the sequence and the approvals set out plainly.

Vindico's role was the design guidelines and technical fit-out standards for the three centres and is now the Othaim Park fit-out manual. Development and operation of the centres sit with Al Othaim Investment.
