Two Vindico Retail teams spent a weekend racing across Dubai at the 2018 Rush-A-Way Corporate Challenge, finishing 27th and 33rd of 92.

Members of Vindico Retail's Dubai team spent a weekend exploring their own city at the 2018 Rush-A-Way Corporate Challenge.
The format sends teams to venues across Dubai, each staging a challenge that tests quick thinking, perseverance and teamwork. Points are earned on speed, penalties are given for a challenge not finished inside its time, and the next location is only revealed once the current one is done. Vindico fielded two teams across the day — the Vindico Jedi and the Vindico Purple Cobras — taking in the Emirates Kart Zone at Al Wasl Sports Club, the ICCA at Knowledge Village and Jebel Ali Sports Club.
Thom Sandham, Head of Retail Delivery for Dubai, notes that the team is spread across offices and project locations around the region, which gives a day like this more meaning than it would have for a group that sits together.
There was some friendly rivalry between our two teams, but today is not about winning and losing — which is a good thing given my Vindico Jedi team came 33rd and the Vindico Purple Cobras came 27th out of 92 teams!

Kieran Harte, Regional Sales Manager, summed the day up: "What a fantastic day! I thoroughly enjoyed it — sign me up for next year."
Taking part: Kayleigh Pullinger, Jenaro Villamor, Umer Patel, May Baluyot, Maryam Patel, Thom Sandham, Nihad Muzamil and Kieran Harte.
