Dubai International Financial Centre is a business district with its own retail, dining and office occupiers. Each of them fits out space inside buildings that other tenants share.

DIFC Investments has appointed Vindico Retail to prepare fit-out design guidelines and a fit-out manual for its property.

Landlords in the region's mature districts are tightening standards, not loosening them. A clear manual is how they keep a shared building working for every occupier.
Peter Row, Founding Director

Tenants in a mixed district need to know the standard before they design. The guidelines set it, and the manual sets how fit-out is carried out. With both in place, and built to be kept live, submissions can arrive complete and be reviewed against one standard, and what is agreed in the deal carries through to design review and delivery.

The most useful guidelines are the ones a tenant's contractor can follow without a call to the landlord. That is what we write for.
Paul Mathews, Chief Operating Officer

Vindico's role is the preparation of the guidelines and the manual. Ownership and operation of the property sit with DIFC Investments.
