Vindico Retail was appointed to Maker Maxity in Mumbai, its first project in India, for a joint venture of the Maker Group and Reliance.

Vindico Retail has been appointed by The Indian Film Combine Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between the Maker Group and Reliance Industries, to provide a complete retail delivery solution for the Maker Maxity Shopping Centre in Mumbai. It is the firm's first appointment in India.
The 12-acre mixed-use development includes two hotels and a drive-in theatre alongside the 250,000 square foot shopping and dining destination, in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex.
Our appointment to the Maker Maxity Shopping Centre project is a milestone in the Vindico story. By productising our service model, we are able to offer clients in India affordable access to best practice retail delivery. We are very pleased that a project of this caliber is to be our first in the exciting Indian retail real estate market.
Richard Kim, Managing Director, Vindico
Vindico has combined its content, design, management and on-site products to work with Maker Maxity's local, national and international retail and restaurant brands, using teams in both Dubai and Mumbai.
Paul Mathews, Director of Retail Delivery, worked with the Maker Maxity team to shape the solution. He says the firm sees beyond the resourcing-only model many construction-led developers still default to: understanding the dynamic between retail and foodservice businesses and international brands, with refined methods and deliverables, is what allows value to be added flexibly and cost-effectively.
Vindico's role covers content, design, management and on-site retail delivery. The development and construction of the centre sit with the joint venture and its contractors.
