Dubai Airports extended Vindico Retail's appointment to Terminals 1 and 2 and Concourse D following the opening of Concourse A.

Following the opening of Concourse A, Vindico Retail is to continue providing tenant coordination and design review services to Dubai Airports.

The follow-on appointment covers specialty retail and food and beverage units in the redevelopment of Terminals 1 and 2, and in Concourse D, a new terminal under construction with capacity for 20 million passengers. It also extends Vindico's involvement to Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central, forecast to handle its first passengers in late 2013.

Mark Holmans, Project Director, says the team is proud of its contribution to the opening of Concourse A and of the opportunity to continue with Eugene Barry's commercial team and their concessionaires.

Airports are an exciting and important part of our plans. Our integrated tenant coordination & design review offer fits perfectly with the needs of Dubai Airport, within a client relationship that motivates us to perform whilst building on our knowledge of the airport delivery environment, which is quite different to shopping centres.
Peter Row, Founding Director, Vindico Retail

Vindico's role covers tenant coordination and design review for Dubai Airports. Terminal construction and the fit-out of individual units sit with the airport's contractors and its concessionaires.
