Vindico Retail and LuLu Group agree retail design review services for Oman

Vindico Retail and LuLu Group International have signed a retail delivery service agreement covering twenty LuLu Hypermarket-anchored properties across Oman.

The role deploys Vindico's online design portal as part of a unit-by-unit retail delivery design solution for specialty retail and food and beverage units. It builds on the delivery of LuLu's Oman Avenues Mall in Muscat, which is itself among the twenty properties now covered.

We have extended this approach into our operating portfolio, and have chosen one part of the retail delivery solution that adds the most value for us. Lynn Hemingway, Head of Retail Delivery for Oman, says the role shows how client needs can be met with a productised view of the services inside a flexible fee model — and that while big project openings remain the firm's pleasure, the wider opportunity is getting shops and restaurants open in less time across the full spectrum of property types.

Earlier in the year, LuLu Group International opened a new hypermarket concept at Aldar's The Mall at World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi. Vindico, as retail delivery managers for the Aldar portfolio, worked with LuLu to coordinate the design and fit-out of the concept store into the existing building.

Vindico's role covers retail delivery design on a unit-by-unit basis across the twenty properties. The properties are owned and operated by LuLu Group International, and each unit is fitted out by its brand.
