Vindico Retail writes design guidelines for Al Tawfeeq's First Avenue Mall

First Avenue Mall is a shopping centre in Dubai developed by Al Tawfeeq Development & Investment.

Al Tawfeeq has appointed Vindico Retail to prepare the design guidelines for the mall, which Vindico delivered within weeks.

Existing malls often rely on informal practice. Writing it down is what lets a landlord keep control as tenants and teams change.

A mall that has already traded for some time still needs a rulebook when new tenants arrive, to keep the whole centre coherent. Designed to be kept live, the guidelines connect the deals for new tenants to the design review and delivery that follow, so each new tenant opens against the same standard.
