Soulland is the Copenhagen fashion label whose first store in the Middle East is at Dubai Hills Mall in Dubai. ALTA Plus Ventures is the operator of the store.

Most brands buy design, delivery and operations from three different suppliers and carry the handovers themselves. Doing all three means the person who designs the store is accountable for how it trades.

The pre-opening retail operations stage is the one that is easiest to leave out and costs most when it is missing: staffing, systems, stock processes and the trading routines that make an opening day work.
A store that is built on time but not ready to trade has not opened. Taking the operational readiness on as part of the same job removes the gap between handover and the first sale.
